Use one clinical brief
Send the same symptoms, goals, prior treatment, dates, relevant records, and travel limits to each clinic. Ask what can be assessed remotely and what requires examination or imaging. Photos and messages may support triage; they do not turn a preliminary range into a confirmed plan.
Request the dentist’s name and role. The Dental Council of Thailand provides a public licence search; accurate Thai or English name spelling may be needed. Ask the clinic to provide the spelling or licence number when search results are unclear.
Compare the complete treatment scope
Separate examination, imaging, laboratory, procedure, anaesthesia, temporary work, material or brand, medication, follow-up, and taxes. Ask what findings can alter the number of teeth, procedure, material, visit count, or price and how you approve a revised plan.
For staged work, identify which clinician or laboratory is responsible at each step and what evidence you receive. A low unit price is not comparable when one proposal omits temporary work, imaging, laboratory grade, or later adjustment.

Build time for recovery and correction
Tell the treating clinician the real departure date before agreeing to timing. Ask what review is clinically appropriate, which symptoms require urgent contact, what can be handled remotely, and what requires an in-person return. Do not compress care to protect a flight or hotel booking.
Keep records, images, material identifiers, invoices, prescriptions, consent, and aftercare. Understand who pays for corrective work, travel, or replacement and the conditions attached to any warranty language.
Normalize two dental proposals
Compare scope rather than asking which treatment is right for you.
- 1Draft one factual brief and document list for both clinics.
- 2Add dentist name and official licence-check fields.
- 3Create the same cost categories for each preliminary estimate.
- 4Add visits, recovery, departure, and corrective-care fields.
Output: A normalized proposal table ready for discussion with qualified dentists.
