Send the same factual summary and questions to each clinic. Ask what records or imaging are needed before anyone estimates treatment. Do not ask a directory, review site, or unlicensed intermediary to diagnose you.
Request the name and role of the clinician expected to provide care. If the clinic cannot name a clinician before an initial examination, ask how assignment works and when you will receive that information.
Turn a quote into a comparable scope
A useful written estimate separates consultation, imaging, laboratory work, procedure fees, materials, medication, temporary work, and follow-up. It also explains which items are provisional until an examination. Currency, taxes, payment stages, refund terms, and accepted payment methods should be explicit.
- Ask which brand, material, or laboratory specification the quote assumes when relevant.
- Ask what findings could change the plan and how approval for added costs is recorded.
- Confirm the expected number of visits and the minimum time between them.
- Ask who pays for corrective work, extra accommodation, or a return visit if something needs attention.
Plan for continuity, not just the procedure
Travel can compress recovery and follow-up into an unrealistic schedule. Ask the treating clinician—not a salesperson—what review period is appropriate for your case and what symptoms require urgent contact. Keep your records, images, invoices, material details, and aftercare instructions.
