Privacy

Collect less, explain why, and keep private submissions out of public pages until a deliberate moderation decision.

What the current site stores

Academy progress:Thailand Ready saves the identifiers of lessons you mark complete in your browser's local storage. Progress stays on that browser and device; it is not an account, is not sent to the Thailand Directory server, and does not contain your name or email. You can reset it from the academy or remove it by clearing this site's browser storage.

Corrections: the listing, proposed change, supporting detail or link, moderation state, submission time, and a one-way requester hash used for abuse limits. No name or email is requested.

Forum: the chosen alias, board, title or reply, moderation state, submission time, and the same kind of one-way requester hash. Pending content is private; public pages contain only editorial seeds or posts a moderator has approved.

Partner, support, and private requests: request name, reply email, optional website, request type, message, consent, a coarse source label such as “support” or “founding sponsor,” moderation state, submission time, and requester hash. This intake is private and is not used to change organic rank.

Sponsor measurement: for an active founding sponsor, the application increments one aggregate outbound-click count for that sponsor and calendar date. That aggregate table contains no clicker IP address, cookie, device identifier, name, email, or page history. Like other requests, the redirect also passes through standard security access logs, which can contain an IP address, timestamp, requested path, referrer, and browser user-agent.

Retention and recipients

Form records are stored on the Thailand Directory server and reviewed by the Thailand Directory operator. They are not sold or posted publicly by default. Request details may be used to respond; they are not forwarded to an unnamed provider.

Requester hashes are cleared after 30 days. Unpublished or rejected community submissions are deleted after 90 days, private partner inquiries after 180 days, and correction records after two years. Approved forum posts remain public until archived or removed; moderation audit events may be kept for two years. Access-restricted online backups rotate after 30 days. Web-server access logs rotate daily and fourteen rotations are retained. Aggregate sponsor metrics and commercial audit events may be retained for two years for reporting and dispute handling.

Your choices and contact route

To ask for access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal, use the support form and include only the reference and date needed to locate the record. The operator may verify the requesting email before acting.

High-stakes information

Do not submit passwords, passports, identity documents, medical records, payment-card details, private home addresses, or information about another person. Thailand Directory does not request these through public forms.
